Silent Laughs is a short documentary on the story and every day life of Leah Kalaitzi, an Edinburgh-based deaf stand-up comedian performing in sign language. The documentary is a Scottish Documentary Institute and Faction North co-production commissioned by Creative Scotland in the context of Bridging the Gap, one of the leading documentary new talent initiatives for cinema and broadcast in the UK.
